On Wednesday night at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California, the SAP Open will welcome USA’s former World No. 1 to the court at 7pm to take on fellow American, 19-year-old Denis Kudla. This Round 2 match-up will be the first time these two compatriots have played each other.
Having recently turned pro and currently being ranked 203rd in the world, Kudla defeated USA’s up-and-coming Jack Sock in three battling sets. The Ukraine-native is a strong righty who favors hard courts and is on a winning streak, but Roddick is rested, ready, and a returning three-time champion here.
