Serbian Davis Cup fan celebrates more than team’s victory

Some ugly words were directed at the visiting Serbian team during last week’s Davis Cup tie against Croatia, but Croatian daily Jutarnji reports that one Serbian fan did benefit from some goodwill.

 

Excited about his team’s victory, a restaurant owner from Serbian region of Pancevo left behind a bag on his seat that contained approximately 4,000 Euros.

 

But he got back his belongings after a Croatian fan turned in the bag, receiving a handshake and the offer of a meal at the Serb’s Pancevo restaurant.
