Lawsuit alleges IMG owner gambled on Federer match

A printing company has filed a lawsuit against IMG that accuses company owner Ted Forstmann of gambling and using company funds, reports celebrity gossip site TMZ.

IMG manages a number of tennis players, including Roger Federer. Among the allegations is that Forstmann raised a bet ona Federer match to $40,000 from $10,000 after receiving inside information from Federer. According to TMZ, the match was the 2006 French Open final, which Federer lost to Rafael Nadal.

The lawsuit also claims that Forstmann bet against Tiger Woods, another IMG client and makes other allegations about Forstmann’s lifestyle and racial views.

A spokesperson for Forstmann told TMZ the accusations are “preposterous” and said a similar lawsuit by the same party in 2008 had been dismissed.
